MUSIQUES CRÉATIVES ET VIVANTES, PAR DES MUSICIENS CRÉATIFS ET VIVANTS

Champs de Bataille - en

CHAMPS DE BATAILLE

Three musicians passionate about photography (Edward Perraud, Vincent Courtois, Christophe Rocher) created a PHOTO-CONCERT based on the images of the photographer Yan Morvan, derived from his latest work Champs de Batailles, in which he testifies of the places of battles and wars, recent or past. It is a reflection of human realities in the aftermath of conflict, of the earth marked by the passage of war and what remains.

The music is freely created by an exceptional trio of improvising musicians and composers, a major trio for a music that is both spontaneous and timeless, based largely on their own compositions.

On stage, the trio is completed by Loïc Vincent (Yann Morvan’s editor), who turns the pages of a photographic book. The photographs flick to the music and the rhythm he perceives, creating a relation of sounds with photographs and inviting the audience to make its way through the musical as well as the visual work.
